Pete’s Eldar Runes
August 2008·p. 36
THE SHORT VERSION
Pete Foley applies the transfer over Shadow Grey, then repaints it with Iyanden Darksun and uses Bestial Brown for simulated metallic shading. Skull White supplies the strongest highlights, while a final Shadow Grey edge tidies the shape and conceals the surrounding film. The process turns a convenient transfer into a more individual detail without needing to draw the whole rune freehand.
