PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 342

Toolbox: Citadel Spray Gun

June 2008·pp. 88–91

THE SHORT VERSION

The guide assembles the spray gun, hose, paint jar and propellant supply, then uses the jar’s marks to dilute Foundation paint. Test bursts reveal consistency or pressure problems before the model is sprayed. Washes can be sprayed directly onto textured scenery, while tanks receive camouflage through controlled lines or masking putty. Cleaning between colours and after a session is part of the process, with alternating propellant cans suggested for longer periods of work.
