TACTICS·WHITE DWARF 341

The Horde

May 2008·pp. 70–71

THE SHORT VERSION

Cheap warriors can give an Evil army numerical superiority across the field or in the particular fight that matters. Mat recommends choosing equipment around a clear plan, whether supported combat or massed arrows, rather than buying an unfocused mixture. Haradrim, Moria Goblins and Corsairs each offer different advantages, with mercenary horsemen providing a risky mounted option. Opponents can exploit restricted space and strong defensive anchors to prevent the whole horde contributing at once.
