Painting Daemons

May 2008·pp. 28–29

THE SHORT VERSION

The painting guide develops pale Daemonette flesh by adding white to a purple-and-stone base, while their claws retain a much darker purple foundation beneath bone-tinted highlights. Bloodletters use warm red shading and orange raised details, with related colours giving their Hellblades a fiery edge. Alternative finished examples encourage very different palettes, from intricate pale Slaaneshi skin to John Blanche’s molten-looking Khorne Daemon.
