Standard Bearer: A Pantheon of Chaos

April 2008·pp. 74–76

THE SHORT VERSION

Jervis explains why the Daemons receive coordinated army books for both major settings. Limited space in the Chaos Space Marines codex opens an opportunity to revisit the deeper material of Realm of Chaos and develop named daemonic characters. He compares Chaos to a single mythological pantheon whose members can ally or quarrel. Shared background, new models and flexible army choices are intended to broaden its possibilities rather than divide followers into four isolated collections.
