Wizard’s Tower
December 2007·pp. 88–89
THE SHORT VERSION
A cut-down hill supports a tower assembled from watchtower walls, ruin pillars and two converted chapel roofs. An octagonal middle storey and irregular battlements make the silhouette deliberately eccentric, while timber details hide difficult roof joins. A damaged tree, candles and braziers suggest a Bright Wizard’s experiments. Matching textures on plasticard and original stone components help the elaborate mixture read as one improbable building.
