THE SHORT VERSION

Agricultural Ostermark stands beside Kislev and sends experienced troops north against Chaos. Haunted woods, Mordheim and nearby undead threats produce a sombre local culture whose banners celebrate survival against terrible enemies. Yellow and purple uniforms vary in shade because the expensive purple dye is difficult to make fast, giving individual soldiers plausible differences within one scheme.

Colours of the Empire
