THE SHORT VERSION

Coastal roads, tolls and naval service define Nordland’s importance. Its blue-and-yellow troops include mariners trained to deploy unexpectedly by sea, and war-galley imagery recalls fighting against Norse raiders. Myrmidia’s eagle grasps the Imperial cross on the provincial banner, expressing a belief that the Empire’s unity depends upon effective soldiers.
