Phil Kelly equips large Hormagaunt broods with toxin sacs so that the first assault wave can inflict serious damage rather than merely hold enemies for bigger organisms. A full brood’s potential mass of Strength-four attacks makes it a threat opponents must recognise early. Leaping and Fleet reduce the time available to shoot the little creatures before they arrive.
