Commander Shadowsun: White Armour

May 2006·p. 69

THE SHORT VERSION

Neil Langdown compares the patience needed for Aun’Va’s white over black with his own white-undercoat method for Shadowsun. A solid painted white layer prevents a later diluted grey shade soaking unevenly into the primer. The four-step panel guide uses flat grey coverage, precise darker lining and repeated thin white coats, while controlled grey edge highlights give the black equipment depth and keep the experimental battlesuit’s details crisp.
