Gotrek and Felix return to the Old World in Orcslayer, where a Dwarf prince’s ancestral promise draws them towards a greenskin-held mountain stronghold while Chaos attacks the Empire. The introduction presents the under-empire as an almost limitless threat restrained largely by its own rivalries. Four Great Clans contribute assassination, unstable weaponry, mutated creatures and disease, supported by ordinary Clanrats whose courage grows with their ranks. The collecting overview leads into two contrasting approaches: overwhelming firepower and deceptive movement, showing that the same basic horde can support very different specialised plans.
