The Necromancer and His Servants

THE SHORT VERSION

The Necromancer combines the threat of a single lethal blow with magic that weakens enemy heroes for his minions. Castellans supply a straightforward close-combat threat, while spiders, a Warg Chieftain and Bat Swarms offer speed, force or reduced enemy Fight values. The background explains why this dangerous but incomplete Sauron still acts through servants, and the tactical descriptions identify complementary jobs rather than treating every monster as interchangeable.
