MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 315

Building an Underground Battlefield

March 2006·pp. 94–96

THE SHORT VERSION

Self-adhesive vinyl tiles make a removable stone floor without altering the existing table. Spare tiles become a raised arena and rubble bases, decorative wooden beading becomes pillars, and doorknobs form oversized mushrooms. Chad Mierzwa adds a stepped throne and mining carts built from plasticard and Ork artillery wheels. The feature shows how common materials can support a distinctive full-sized battlefield in a short project.
