PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 315

Painting the T’au Sept

March 2006·p. 52

THE SHORT VERSION

Warm armour is layered from Vomit Brown through Bronzed Flesh to pale bone edges, contrasting with dark brown undersuits and grey-edged black rifles. Small metallic components rise from Tin Bitz through gold highlights, while red lenses receive a final white point. The sept emblem is painted as a small contrasting shape rather than relying entirely on transfers. These separate treatments keep the restrained uniform readable across a whole squad.
