RULES·WHITE DWARF 315

Khandish Raiders and Defenders of Ithilien

March 2006·pp. 86–87

THE SHORT VERSION

The counter sheets distinguish infantry, cavalry, chariots and the two sides’ commanding groups. Most represent a hundred points with a hero included, allowing armies to be selected when counters meet rather than permanently fixed at the start. Mounted groups move faster, and Ithilien Rangers can negotiate dense terrain without the usual movement roll. These simple differences produce strategic asymmetry without requiring a detailed logistics system.
