Dok Butcha’s K’onvershun Klinic: World Eaters Terminators

January 2006·p. 18

THE SHORT VERSION

Wade Pryce rebuilds plastic Loyalist Terminators into ancient servants of Khorne, drawing on codex artwork, Jes Goodwin sketches and earlier Chaos models. Components from many plastic kits provide variety while remaining straightforward to cut and join. Thin putty rolls become armour banding after a short curing period, and individually sliced plastic studs cover each figure. More than a hundred studs per model give the armour an ornate, laboriously constructed identity.

The Tau Are Back

Andy Hoare connects the new Tau codex with improvements in plastic manufacture that make Stealth suits and formerly resin vehicles available as plastic kits. The Sky Ray’s seeker missiles depend on allied markerlights, while Piranhas work in fast squadrons to contest objectives. XV25 armour introduces a revised suit with a support-system option, and Shadowsun symbolizes the third expansion. The interview presents the additions as complementary tools within the Tau’s interdependent army.
