Daemon World Landscapes

January 2006·p. 69

THE SHORT VERSION

Players choose or roll for one of six world-wide conditions before placing scenery. Boiling blood punishes stationary infantry, plague kills according to failed Toughness tests, and Tzeentchian mutation can redirect fire onto friendly units. Slaaneshi beauty immobilizes distracted forces, another world lowers non-daemonic Leadership, and the final result supplies a relatively stable place of damnation. Exemptions differ by result, making the selected landscape a major influence on tactics and force selection.
