Matt Plonski welcomes an opponent eager to close, but still recommends isolating and weakening a target before the final assault. Bloodletters and Daemonettes cut power armour, while Berserkers, Chosen and Possessed can outperform ordinary Templars. The Emperor’s Champion can be swamped rather than always fought by a Lord, and exceptionally powerful daemons offer another answer. Troop selection determines the final blow after the same careful approach.
