Painting Goblins
December 2005·p. 114
THE SHORT VERSION
Frode darkens a small set of colours with black to produce unified, worn Goblins quickly. Armour begins as black mixed with Chainmail, receives patchy Scorched Brown rust and then bright metallic edges. Dark green skin is highlighted with a green-yellow mixture, red clothing builds from a blackened base, and bone-coloured eyes and teeth complete the face. Grey sand and pale drybrushing finish the bases without introducing a competing palette.
