Painting Dryads Brown

November 2005·p. 105

THE SHORT VERSION

Graveyard Earth bark and green leaves receive a Brown Ink wash before the raised texture is restored. Patches of green, grey and white then vary the wood, while bone mixed into the leaf colour provides its highlights. Yellow eyes with a small white reflection finish the creature. The recipe uses brown as a foundation while avoiding a uniformly brown result.
