THE SHORT VERSION

Kemmler and Krell attempt to cross the Wood Elves’ outer perimeter before the defenders fully assemble. Only Dryads begin on the table; each turn brings the next named reinforcement, ending with a Treeman. Kemmler must escape through the far edge to win, while winter makes Forest Spirits subject to Stupidity. Alternative forces preserve the unusual structure by limiting the attacker to characters rather than a conventional army.
