Alessio Cavatore explains the new manual’s deliberate simplification of familiar mechanics. Broken warriors now leave play after failed courage tests, Will can support courage, and isolated-model testing disappears; barrier fighting moves into advanced rules. Every model normally has a hand weapon, volley fire needs ten archers, and cavalry can use the better rider or mount characteristics. The notes explain the reasoning behind the changes rather than presenting them as an unconnected errata list.
