Orc Fighting Pit

September 2005·p. 141

THE SHORT VERSION

A hollowed polystyrene hill on hardboard becomes a small fighting arena lined with uneven wooden stakes. Sand, embedded rocks and extra Goblin spear points roughen the construction, while different drybrush sequences distinguish earth, old wood and stone. Flock, discarded weapons and brown-red blood splashes finish a piece designed around Orcs’ enthusiasm for fighting even their own neighbours.
