A watchtower garrison faces Revenants and Spectres sent south before the Witch-king commits his main army. Darkness restricts the Men’s charges and shooting while the spirits see freely, making a familiar hilltop defence unsettlingly unequal; both forces seek to reduce the other to a quarter of its initial numbers.

Plunder Points and the Campaign Map

Controlled territories provide plunder representing whatever each army values, from gold and slaves to relics or food.
