Revised facial proportions improve Dave’s carved polystyrene idol, and a hot-wire cutter adds rock strata before masonry paint and Roughcoat provide texture. Salvaged Titan bases, skulls and pre-undercoat flock make the finished effigy durable and consistent, even as his accompanying battle diary admits that the army’s improving appearance has not produced victories.
