The Tactical Uses of Gnoblars

THE SHORT VERSION

Cheap Gnoblars supply ranks, outnumbering and flank protection that expensive Ogres struggle to generate efficiently. Phil also uses them for screening, sacrificial redirection, deployment feints, missile distraction and uncontested table quarters, with the ability to flee without spreading panic making their expendability particularly useful; bickering remains the principal danger to an overly rigid screen.
