Building a Frozen River
April 2005·pp. 130–131
THE SHORT VERSION
Matching-width sections allow the river to be rearranged and stored, with shaped polystyrene banks blended onto a wooden or card base. Dark water painted in grey patches sits beneath a clear document-wallet surface, and snow scatter along brown banks completes an inexpensive impression of ice over the Brandywine.
