Collapsed Hobbit-hole
April 2005·pp. 122–123
THE SHORT VERSION
Gouged openings and inserted balsa rafters turn a normal polystyrene Hobbit-hole into a partly collapsed home. Painted interiors remain visible beneath torn paper and filler, while blackened edges around roof damage, windows and door establish arson without requiring an entirely different method for constructing the underlying building.
