Making Shipboard Mesh Bases
March 2005·p. 75
THE SHORT VERSION
Bases are glued to wire mesh, trimmed and painted with a mixed metallic-and-ink base before a lighter drybrush brings out the grating. Christian stresses pinning the Marines through the mesh for a secure attachment; the result gives a boarding force a practical industrial setting with very little sculpting.
