Bandobras Took and His Horse

March 2005·p. 33

THE SHORT VERSION

Bandobras’s exposed face and feet receive simple flesh layers and ink definition, while his shirt progresses through greys to white. The horse’s muscles are built up from brown through earth and bone mixtures; a separate, paler sequence gives the mane and tail enough contrast to remain distinct from the animal’s skin.
