Paul’s apparently easy month of archers and a Witch becomes a lesson in procrastination and repeated repainting. He finds character in the Halfling faces, then chooses a large Halberdier unit converted from Spearmen to represent veteran soldiers returning to Stirland, expanding the militia’s story without abandoning its provincial identity.
