Paint It Brown
February 2005·p. 111
THE SHORT VERSION
Guy leaves parts of a mid-brown foundation visible beneath thin base colours, then uses broad ink washes and limited highlights to produce quick, dirty Orcs. Selective metals, rust and pale highlights distinguish materials without repainting every strap and boot, with advice to limit washes on large flat surfaces where they would become streaky.
