Painting Eldar Vine Patterns
February 2005·p. 135
THE SHORT VERSION
A carefully finished pale hull provides contrast for freehand Biel-tan vines. Pencil curves establish a random but evenly spaced structure before thinned green paint fixes the lines; pencilled thorns and successively brighter central highlights add depth while keeping errors repairable with the original background colours.
