MODELLING·WHITE DWARF 300

Making a Tilt

December 2004·p. 61

THE SHORT VERSION

A balsa fence on bevelled hardboard becomes a compact jousting ground, with impressed horseshoe marks suggesting repeated training runs. Sand sealed under diluted glue gives the base durability, and separately painted shields and banners allow colourful heraldry to be added cleanly after the main terrain is finished.
