Painting Chest Eagles, Liturgy and Transfers
November 2004·p. 83
THE SHORT VERSION
A short chest-eagle sequence uses a brown foundation, pale overbrush and yellow ink to produce a readable golden emblem without metallic paint. Fine painted writing personalises seals and armour, while the transfer demonstration shows cutting, soaking and placing Chapter symbols as an alternative to freehand insignia.
