Creating the Battlefield
October 2004·pp. 26–28
THE SHORT VERSION
Paul Rudge builds a modular four-foot battlefield for the ambush from four polystyrene tiles. Rounded rises and overhanging rocky formations make a valley that still fits together in different arrangements. Sand and a sealing layer prepare the surfaces for brown ground, grey rocks and several types of flock. A Forge World road and a removable spiked barricade complete the route, while coloured glue makes unfinished areas easier to spot.
