Painting Workshop: Chaos Warriors
August 2004·pp. 30–33
THE SHORT VERSION
Paul Sawyer replaces his older plastic regiment with newly assembled Warriors for Vradchuk’s army. Removing horns changes their appearance and helps posing, while separate subassemblies allow access behind shields. Step-by-step methods cover metal, red cloaks, leather, fur, trophies and textured bases. Flatbrushing uses the side of the bristles to catch edges, and a fine graphics pen supplies final blacklining between colours.
