The Art of Warhammer: Shooting

August 2004·pp. 58–61

THE SHORT VERSION

Jeff Leong divides useful shooting into causing panic, reducing enemy combat advantages and destroying vulnerable units. Deployment must give missile troops the right fields of fire for the opponent they face. Once the battle begins, coordinated volleys should continue until a realistic objective is reached before moving to the next target. Examples show how even modest casualties can change outnumbering, ranks and the outcome of a later melee.
