Tactica: Halting the Tide
July 2004·pp. 26–31
THE SHORT VERSION
Phil Kelly explains how a defender can earn a result against an army twice its points value. Chosen troops, Flayerkin, Hellcannons and Archaon demand different responses, so target selection matters more than indiscriminate fire. Refused flanks, march blocking and controlled breakthroughs prevent the whole horde applying its strength at once. Smaller vulnerable units and Archaon’s mount offer achievable points, while the scenario’s panic immunity helps the defence remain deliberate.
