PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 294

Chaos Warriors

June 2004·pp. 32–33

THE SHORT VERSION

Mark Jones paints Chaos Undivided warriors with a naturalistic scheme built largely through controlled drybrushing. Successively brighter metals reveal the armour’s edges, with dark lining and brown washes restoring depth and wear. Fur, shields and leather use related muted colours, keeping the regiment coherent. Painting the shield separately and finishing selected black details provide contrast without requiring extensive blending.
