Faith Is Our Shield

THE SHORT VERSION

Joe Sturge’s Witch Hunters confront Paul Scott’s Tau in a roughly 2,000-point contest for abandoned Imperial relics. Early Tau shooting devastates the advance, but a reversal in the third turn lets the Sisters recover. A Penitent Engine reaches the Ethereal, while the Living Saint’s death undermines the Witch Hunters’ faith reserves. Both armies suffer heavily and the battle ends in a draw, with the post-game discussion examining target selection and the consequences of exposed leaders.
