Painting Typhus
March 2004·pp. 40–41
THE SHORT VERSION
The converted Typhus receives green armour shaded with a reddish brown and highlighted through warmer tones. Glazes recover colour after pale highlights, while several inks make the face appear unhealthy. Warm brass contrasts with the armour, and striped blood, pale bone spikes and a bright Nurgle symbol finish the details. Tammy describes experimentation and observation as the sources of the scheme rather than following a fixed recipe from the outset.
