Tanks of the Imperial Guard: Painting Camouflage
November 2003·pp. 58–59
THE SHORT VERSION
Mark Jones builds a temperate camouflage pattern with diagonal green and brown bands, using the hull to align the turret’s markings. Successive drybrushes lighten each colour while leaving dark divisions between them. Mud receives different tones on the tracks and hull, with gloss varnish suggesting wet areas. Rust, exhaust staining and worn metal finish the tank, linking the paint treatment to the constructed weathering shown earlier in the feature.
