Gil Surepi traces the expansion of his Dwarf realm through successive campaign years, recording battles, discoveries and winter expenditure. Building towns and cities creates a second army, but disease, enemy invasions and a ruler’s injury interrupt the plan. The diary connects grudges and named commanders to the campaign map, showing how individual setbacks generate future objectives rather than merely reducing a score.
