Regiments of the Imperium
October 2003·pp. 86–91
THE SHORT VERSION
Steve Cumiskey shows how the revised Imperial Guard doctrines encourage players to develop a regiment’s appearance and battlefield identity together. Examples range from well-equipped hive-world soldiers and gravity-chute troops to converted warrior women, youthful conscripts and a religious army from Macharia. Equipment, heads, damaged clothing and small markings communicate those backgrounds with different amounts of conversion work. Each contributor’s doctrine list makes the link between the models and the intended army explicit.
