CAMPAIGN·WHITE DWARF 286

King Phat

October 2003·p. 45

THE SHORT VERSION

Phil Kelly recounts his Tomb King’s ambitions in the Bloodlands campaign through the voice of an increasingly self-important ruler. A golden idol, a bitter duel and the subjugation of neighbouring lands make each campaign action part of King Phat’s personal mythology. Poisoned emissaries and unreliable alliances show diplomacy becoming another weapon, while the account’s humour rests on the gap between an undead monarch’s glorious claims and the opportunism of the players around him.
