Graham McNeill brings Eldrad Ulthran and Lord Castellan Creed into a precarious alliance during the assault on Cadia. Imperial troops struggle to contain the invasion while events in space reveal why the Eldar have intervened. A rescued frigate, the threat of the Blackstone Fortress and Admiral Quarren’s fleet draw the separate fronts together. The story ends with Abaddon committing to another attack, leaving the confrontation unresolved for its continuation rather than reporting the campaign’s final results.

Eye of Terror

Mordian Iron Guard

Mordia’s permanent darkness and tightly controlled resources produce a regiment whose parade-ground appearance conceals exceptional discipline.
