Swift and Deadly
August 2003·pp. 24–27
THE SHORT VERSION
Mounted Daemonettes are introduced through a Kislevite patrol’s disastrous encounter with Slaanesh’s hunters, whose speed and seductive appearance unsettle their victims before the killing begins. The accompanying background presents the riders and their sinuous steeds as predators that deliberately prolong a pursuit.
The rules make the unit fast cavalry with poisoned mount attacks, an aura that weakens nearby enemies and a steed that strikes unusually quickly. Army-selection guidance distinguishes Daemonic generals from Mortal or Beast commanders, and the following page gathers the contemporary rules for daemonic instability, fear and protection from mundane weapons.
