Paint Splatter: Helsmiths of Hashut
November 2025·pp. 104–105
THE SHORT VERSION
Emily paints an Infernal Cohort warrior with a clean, richly ornamented finish suited to the Helsmiths’ meticulous self-image. Starting from black, she works outward through cloth, mail, purple-toned armour and bright trim, using careful edge highlights to define the miniature. The illustrated recipes also cover skin, tusks, beard and red gems.
Two small effects broaden the guide beyond the infantry model. Green daemon flames use darker colours on raised edges to reverse the usual highlighting pattern, while a tiny flask combines a green wash with pinpoint highlights to suggest glass containing supernatural energy. All named colours in the steps and sidebars are indexed.
