LORE·WHITE DWARF 514

Fate & Feculence

July 2025·pp. 38–43

THE SHORT VERSION

Tzeentch’s appetite for possibility makes Nurgle’s recurring cycle of death and decay his most hated opposition. Their rivalry consumes landscapes in the Realm of Chaos and mortal territories in Ghyran and Chamon, where mutation, disease and competing cults reshape the war. A selection of conflicts shows the Changeling undermining Nurgle from within and Tzeentch allying with the Great Horned Rat when the War of Life turns against him.

The Impossible Fortress embodies Tzeentch’s paradoxical power: ever-changing architecture traps invaders and absorbs the souls of those who lose their minds inside. A short confrontation between Lords of Change and a Great Unclean One illustrates the limits of an apparent victory, as destroying the intruder still leaves corruption spreading across the crystal and further attackers approaching.
